Sweet Acres Farm
I collaborated with a web design firm to design a logo for Sweet Acres Farm, a client that breeds dogs and hosts a summer camp for children. The client wanted both a horse and a dog incorporated to represent their business, and it was important that the design resonate with both children and adults.
Research and Ideation
I researched farm branding to find inspiration for colors, shapes, and typography that evoke trust, warmth, and rural charm. My exploration included sketching layout concepts and selecting typefaces that would appeal to both children and adults.

Design Development
To create a connection with children attending the summer camp, I selected a bold, playful font that complements the animal imagery, making it visually appealing to both kids and adults. I explored various design directions, including an alternate version with a rustic palette of warm reds and oranges that conveyed a classic farm feel.
Ultimately, the client preferred the final logo with a dark green color symbolizing nature, stability, and growth, accented by warm gold for sophistication. The horse and dog silhouettes were refined through multiple iterations to ensure clarity and balance within a circular frame for adaptability across platforms.
Final Deliverables
The final deliverables included three logo variations to provide flexibility across platforms: one with the icon on the left and text on the right, one with the logo on top and text below, and one with just the icon. These variations ensure that Sweet Acres Farm has adaptable branding options for signage, merchandise, social media, and digital platforms, maintaining consistency and recognition in any application.

Conclusion
This project successfully modernized Angell Nails’ branding while preserving its essence. The client was thrilled with the creative use of nails within the design, and the new logo better represents their vision and services.
